Managing Class Overbookings Efficiently

We’ve started seeing a lot of class overbookings lately, and it’s becoming tricky to manage member expectations when everyone shows up. The other day, we had a yoga class with 30 signed up but only enough mats for 20. How do you guys handle situations like that? Any tips on communication or system adjustments that could help streamline things?

, class overbookings drive me nuts! We had a similar situation the other day with a cycling class — too many bikes, not enough space. I’ve started adding a waitlist feature on our registration tool, which definitely helps manage expectations. Have you tried anything like that?

Overbooking’s such a hassle! Adding a waitlist feature has helped us, but consider letting members know in advance when classes hit capacity. Have you tried adjusting class times for better flow?

It sounds like a juggling act over there! One thing we’ve done is to let members know when a class is full via a quick email or text — kind of like a friendly heads-up before they show up. Have you thought about that route?
