Managing wait times effectively

Ever notice how a small change can make a big difference in managing wait times? I recently started giving guests a realistic estimate of their wait when they check in, and it seems to ease some of the frustration. It’s surprising how just a little bit of communication can help keep everyone calm and happy.

I’ve found that if you can manage to get a quick snack or drink in the waiting area, it makes a huge difference. It distracts guests from the wait and keeps the mood light. Just like you mentioned, communication is key, but a little comfort food can go a long way too.

It’s true that communication is key! I’ve also started giving guests an activity to do while they wait, like a simple trivia game; it really helps pass the time. Have you considered adding any fun distractions in the lobby, @arthur.jones87?

Totally agree on giving realistic wait times! I’ve also found that sharing a quick story or fun fact can keep guests engaged. Have you tried that?
