The most bizarre guest request ever

I once had a guest who asked for a banana to be delivered to their room, but not just any banana — they wanted it to be a perfectly ripe, ‘dancing’ banana, whatever that meant! I spent a good hour trying to figure out how to get a banana to dance. It made for a hilarious end to my shift, but I truly believe that some requests are just meant to be laughed.

I once had a guest request a ‘cooked’ French fry because they insisted on an ‘authentic’ experience. Like you said, some requests really are just for a laugh! I ended up having to microwave a bunch for some semblance of warmth — definitely not a gourmet approach, but it was memorable.

I totally get that! I once had a guest request a ‘blue’ pillow because they claimed it helped them sleep better. Crazy requests really do keep our shifts interesting! :joy:.
