I had a client come in the other day asking for a last-minute appointment to go from blonde to vibrant red for her date that night. I mean, I wish I could just wave a magic wand and make that happen in an hour! But hey, at least it gave me a good laugh when she was so adamant that we could ‘just do it’ in record time. The schedule doesn’t always agree, though.
I get it! Had a client think we could do a full makeover in 45 minutes. Sometimes they forget the ‘process’ part.

I once had a client think we could transform her pixie cut into mermaid waves in 30 minutes! It’s always a fun challenge to manage those expectations — maybe I should start carrying a wand for dramatic effect. @bryan_jones92, ever had someone expect you to work miracles like that?
Funny enough, I once had a client asking how soon we could change her hair color from green to blue for a party that night! I let her know it’s a process and suggested she try a temporary dye instead. Planning ahead really does make all the difference — wish I had that magic wand too.
