Thank you for being a part of this community. Your contributions make it a valuable resource for everyone involved in front desk roles. Have a great week ahead!

Our team recently revamped our check-in process by implementing a mobile app that lets guests check in before arrival; it cut down wait times significantly and really enhanced the overall experience. Like you mentioned, communication is key; sending notifications about room readiness has been a game changer for us. Just hope we can keep up with tech demands as we grow.

Totally get where you’re coming from. One thing that’s helped us is setting up a dedicated staff member to greet guests while they check in through the app — makes a big difference in ensuring everyone still feels welcomed. What tech upgrades are you considering next?

, streamlining check-in really is a challenge! We tried using a simple QR code system for pre-arrival check-ins, and it helped but can be hit or miss if guests don’t read instructions… @EmilyB mentioned using personalized welcome messages, which could definitely elevate the experience when there’s a crowd. Has anyone else had luck with that?
